Frequently Asked Questions
How waterproof is the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543?
The LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 is certified airtight and waterproof to 200 feet (60 meters) of submersion — a rating verified by the U.S. Navy Experimental Diving Unit. That is full submersion protection, not simply splash or rain resistance, and the seal holds for extended periods underwater rather than for a quick dunk.
What fits in the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543?
At 5" × 4.75", the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 is the smallest bag in the aLOKSAK line. It suits a wallet, passport, cash, keys, a compact first-aid or medication kit, spare batteries, matches and tinder, or a small camera battery and memory cards. For a phone, step up to the 4" × 7" or phone-sized aLOKSAK instead.
Is the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 reusable?
Yes. The LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 is designed to be opened and resealed as many times as you need, which is what separates it from disposable storage bags. The film is puncture and tear resistant and the bag is recyclable at end of life.
How do you close the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 properly?
Press the double-lock seal closed between finger and thumb and run along the full width of the closure twice, making sure both seal tracks have engaged from edge to edge. Leaving a small pocket of air inside the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 is fine — it helps the bag float and gives you a visual check that the seal is holding.
Is the LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 safe for food and medication?
Yes. The LOKSAK aLOKSAK aloksak543 is made from FDA-approved medical-grade film with no BPA and no harsh chemicals, so it is safe for snacks, medication and medical supplies. The airtight seal also keeps humidity out, which matters for things like pills, salt tablets and electronics.
