Yes. Benchmade has discontinued the Vicar family, so the Benchmade Vicar 757BK is no longer in production and remaining examples are collector items.
What does BK mean on the Benchmade Vicar 757BK?
The BK suffix refers to the blade: the Benchmade Vicar 757BK carries a black-coated CPM-S30V blade, while the handle keeps the same stacked green and black G10 as the satin model.
Who designed the Benchmade Vicar 757BK?
Custom knifemaker Shane Sibert designed the Benchmade Vicar 757BK, in the same overbuilt style as his Adamas and Bushcrafter designs for Benchmade.
Is CPM-S30V good knife steel?
Yes. The CPM-S30V stainless steel on the Benchmade Vicar 757BK is an American powder steel with a proven balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, hardened to 58-60 HRC.
How does the liner lock on the Benchmade Vicar 757BK work?
A 0.090" thick titanium liner springs across the blade tang when the knife opens, locking it solidly. Push the liner aside and the blade of the Benchmade Vicar 757BK folds closed with one hand.
Does Benchmade offer lifetime sharpening for the Benchmade Vicar 757BK?
Yes. Benchmade's LifeSharp service covers the Benchmade Vicar 757BK for the life of the knife at no charge beyond shipping.

The Benchmade Vicar 757BK was made in Benchmade's factory in Oregon City, Oregon, USA.
