Benchmade H&K 14300 Snody – 440C Recurve Tactical Folding Knife
Designed by custom maker Mike Snody for Benchmade's Heckler & Koch line, the 14300 is a light, fast, no-nonsense carry knife. The 2.97" blade is 440C high-chromium stainless with a modified drop point and a pronounced recurve, so it bites and pulls material into the edge on draw cuts. The black Zytel nylon-resin overlay handle is heavily textured at the bolster and scalloped through the rest of the grip, over full steel liners, and ambidextrous thumb studs open it quickly from either hand. It is a compact tactical folding knife that carries far lighter than it looks.
