The Hoku is a user programmable tail switch activated flashlight based on a 10440 (AAA sized) flat or button top 3.7V lithium ion cell that consists of 3 main components, the body, bezel, and the light engine.
To install a battery, grip the body/clip section and the center engine section independently and twist them in opposite directions to gain access the battery tube.
