Frequently Asked Questions
What is the blade length of the DreamTech D4507GB?
The DreamTech D4507GB has a 3.07" satin finish VG10 cleaver blade, 0.13" thick and hardened to 59-61 HRC. Open, the D4507GB measures 7.32" overall — a compact, pocket-friendly EDC size.
Is VG10 good knife steel?
Yes — the DreamTech D4507GB uses VG10, a Japanese stainless steel known for excellent edge retention, fine sharpening, and strong corrosion resistance. Hardened to 59-61 HRC, the D4507GB's blade holds a keen slicing edge.
What handle material does the DreamTech D4507GB have?
The DreamTech D4507GB features black G10 handle scales over a 4.25" handle. G10 is a glass-fiber laminate that's lightweight, extremely durable, impervious to moisture, and offers a secure grip in any conditions.
How does the button lock on the DreamTech D4507GB work?
The DreamTech D4507GB uses DreamTech's patented button lock system: a spring-loaded plunger locks the blade open, and pressing the button releases it so the blade swings freely. It makes opening and closing the D4507GB fast, smooth, and one-handed.
What is a cleaver blade good for?
A cleaver blade, as featured on the DreamTech D4507GB, has a tall, flat edge and squared tip that excel at push cuts, slicing, breaking down boxes, and utility chores — a modern EDC take on the classic kitchen cleaver profile.
Is the DreamTech D4507GB a good EDC knife?
Yes — the DreamTech D4507GB pairs a premium satin VG10 cleaver blade with rugged black G10 scales and a fidget-friendly button lock at a budget-friendly price, making the D4507GB an easy choice for everyday carry.
