NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD – 2.95" x 1.18" Red 3D PVC
The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD renders the classic NASA "worm" logotype in raised white lettering on a red moulded PVC background. At 2.95" x 1.18" the NASA-RD is a compact rectangle that fits neatly on a cap panel, sleeve, backpack strap or flight bag.
The worm — the flowing all-caps wordmark with the crossbars dropped from the A's — was NASA's official insignia from 1975 to 1992 and returned to use on launch vehicles in 2020. This red colourway is the reverse of the white NASA-WH patch, also stocked at Going Gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size is the NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD?
The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD measures 2.95" x 1.18" (7.5 x 3 cm), a compact rectangle suited to a cap panel, sleeve, strap or small loop field.
How does the NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD attach?
The NASA-RD has a hook & loop backing, so it presses onto any velcro-style loop panel — a flight cap, backpack strap, EDC pouch or patch board — and lifts off again for swapping. No sewing needed.
What is the NASA worm logo?
The worm is NASA's minimalist wordmark, designed in 1975, in which the letters flow together and the A's lose their crossbars. The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD reproduces that logotype in raised white on red, the reverse of the agency's more familiar red-on-white presentation.
What is the difference between the NASA-RD and the NASA-WH patch?
They are the same design in opposite colourways. The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD has a red background with white lettering; the NASA-WH has a white background with red lettering. Both measure 2.95" x 1.18" and both are sold separately at Going Gear.
Where can I buy the NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD?
The NASA Worm Logo Morale Patch NASA-RD is available at Going Gear, with fast shipping and expert customer support.
