Greg Wegrzycki in the knife community known as Karambitmaker, long-time martial arts practitioner, knife collector and knife maker. His main passion is karambit and curved blade knives, but from time to time he creates more utilitarian projects.

About Design

Rei is inspired by folders from the precursors of the first tactical folders from the early 90s, that period where functionality, usability, and comfort of work were the foundation. It focused on functionality, where the knife grip ensures comfort of work but, above all, safety when making any cuts and pushes. When it comes to opening the knife, the user will have the choice of opening the folder with either a thumb stub or a flipper. The idea was to create a fully tactical folder that will be used both during service and utility. Rei combining classic tactical folders and modern materials.
